Day 6 of the Blogiversary Celebration - Guest Post from Jen of Four Marrs One Venus

If you haven't met Jen from Four Marrs One Venus you have been missing out.  She has an awesome sense of humor and blows life into every project she shares. Come get to know her better!

Hi there! My name is Jen and I blog over at...

I am so excited to be here celebrating Marilyn's Blogiversary Bash! One fantastic thing about blogging is, you meet so many amazing ladies! I am very happy I have crossed paths with this girl!

A little bit about me? I am a stay at home mom to 3 boys! If I am not crafting, cleaning, dancing, cooking or singing...you can find me taxi-ing the boys around to school and sports! I married my high school sweet cheeks 13 years ago in Las Vegas! Drive up wedding window..yes we did! I love to laugh and bring smiles to others!

I did bring a little something to share today! I don't know about you, but my kids LOVE to eat..and they LOVE to know every morning... What we are having for dinner! Your kids too?!

So I whipped up a MENU board and I have to tell you- it has answered their questions and saved me from answering them! WINNER!

Materials:
Old Frame
Fabric
Stencils for the letters
Computer printed M-F sheet
Scrapbook Paper

1. Rip apart your old frame.
2. Use the cardboard back of the frame and wrap a neutral colored fabric around. Pull tight and hot glue in place.
3. Trace/Cut your MENU letters out of another fabric {your choice} Print out M-F paper on the computer. I glued it to scrapbook paper, then to the neutral fabric.

Finally place it all back in your frame. {This type of frame now turned into a shadow type}

Using a Dry Erase Marker, write on the glass part of the frame your dinners for the week!

Yes, it's just that easy!

I would love have you over!
No knocking required!

Jen, thanks for the great menu planner.  I definitely need to make one!  You ROCK as always.  Come back tomorrow to meet my last guest blogger, Lindsay of Artsy Fartsy Mama.

4 You

I love having a menu board. Mike doesn't have to ask what I'm cooking and I don't forget what all the stuff in the fridge is for. :)

So right Julie- It really does make life easier- FOR ALL! Including myself!! :)

Everybody needs one of these! So easy to change, and maybe the kids would stop asking me what we are having for dinner the minute they get home from school!

That's such a great idea. My kids have begun asking what's for dinner. It's pretty much the same thing every night but at least they'll know.
